2013 – 2016

One-stop Illustration, Animation, Prop / set building, and stop-motion animation shop working at the Brooklyn-based studio so nice, they named it twice. Whiteboard Animation / ideaMachine Studios & hovr Studio expected it’s animators to wear multiple hats. Some days you animate, some days you stop-motion animate Cheerios, some days you’re breaking apart little dolls to reassemble into slightly more flexible little dolls, like some sort of sadistic stop-motion Victor von Frankenstein.

And some days, you get to build a tiny Houston, on the roof of the building, in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Like how real movies used to be made.
