Remote Shoot – REAL remote.

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah Georgia, my college friends and I embarked on an incredible journey to produce a captivating documentary.

Following the treacherous cross-country expedition from Savannah to Los Angeles by bike, talented cyclists Danny Ramirez and Patrick Zagorski showcased unwavering determination, camping out in state parks along the way.

As the producer and occasional boom operator, alongside visionary directors Fernando Del Valle and Baruh Benjamins, I was determined to capture every exhilarating moment of their adventure.

Upon reaching California, I collaborated with our editor, Jason Zeni, to craft a mesmerizing animated segment portraying Patrick’s prophetic dream during the journey.

This documentary is a testament to the power of human spirit and determination, and I am happy to share this time capsule of my summer of ’08.
