In response to a NASA challenge, 3D design firm Fabulous designed the Sfero – a burrowing robot that 3D prints homes on Mars. The Sfero will access the iron in the Martian soil and the permafrost that NASA believes is underground to create a dome-shaped habitat that Mark Watney could only dream of. Produced by Rob Ludacer
